About ZTX LLC

ZTX LLC is an Arizona-based technology company specializing in 5G and next-generation wireless network security.

Our technology is built on research supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation.

Company History

ZTX LLC was founded in 2025 to commercialize security technology developed under an NSF Convergence Accelerator grant (Track G: Assured and Scalable Wireless Networks). The research program, led by principal investigator Taejoon Kim, brought together a multi-university consortium spanning the Arizona State University, Purdue University, the University of Texas at Arlington, Pennsylvania State University, Wichita State University, Iowa State University, and Mississippi State University, with industry collaboration from Raytheon.

The underlying research addressed critical vulnerabilities in military 5G deployments, producing the Zero Trust Security (ZTX) architecture from software-based solutions for end-to-end shield communications, secure 5G Core network slicing, near-real-time threat detection, and location privacy on public 5G infrastructure. ZTX was established to carry that work beyond the grant lifecycle into dual-use commercial and defense applications.
